As every great leader knows, the key is to mention that you’re the boss every three sentences.
“I know how to recruit because I’ve been recruited many times” doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny, does it? But I hope this is leading to him doing an objectively terrible job of definitely being the boss.
Morning! I am excited today, because I've made a little puzzle game and put it in the Google Play Store!
If you fancy having a play, here it be:
play.google.com/store/apps/d...
(Apple version to follow in the next week or so)

A ‘sorry you’re leaving’ card showing a horde of knitted characters all smiling broadly and looking decidedly chipper
You don’t look too fucking sorry
A white truck about a cereal for men called Man Cereal. It’s a white truck with black letters that say “cereal got its balls back”
Lmfao men are such fucking losers 💀💀💀
Everybody thinks 'https://' stands for 'hypertext transfer protocol secure' but it actually stands for 'head to this place, sucka' followed by a colon and two laser sounds
Going to start turning the lights off before sending a particularly honest email at work.
Never know how much BritWres interest there is over here, but for those who do like chasing indie wrestling across Britain, I made another 2026 BritWres calendar:
I am ready for 2026 to be the year of Thekla
OH MY
“What’s he doing here?”
He works here, Dave
I think we can make this happen in 2026 then
Ah, fair. We are currently watching Champagne Problems so can let you know how that is.
I can’t remember if we already discussed this - have you seen Anna and the Apocalypse? It’s at least set at Christmas!
I now absolutely need to see you vs Kanji. Two of my absolute faves!
A ROAST IN A BEEF
GIANT YORKSHIRE PORK
PUDDING TURKEY
Very weird! Surely that’s not correct? Also why do Tony’s choices look like they stopped making them in the 1920s?

Asylum seekers, housed in hotels in Manchester, are reaching out in their own words to address the concerns of the local community.
Please take a minute to read their letter, & share it with the people in your life who need to hear the truth about the people they are protesting.
Why Wikipedia editors have deleted entries from the “List of unusual deaths”: “hippos are extremely dangerous and very aggressive and there is nothing unusual about hippos killing people” “the man was working on the toilet, making his death inherently less strange than if he had been using it” “no longer an unusual or unique occurrence” regarding impalement by beach umbrella “being hit by multiple motorcycles in a race is not an unusual death” “fatalities involving objects or animals being launched into oncoming traffic are considered commonplace” regarding a Canadian couple’s fatal collision with a “flying bear”
recently discovered that wikipedia volunteers have a hilariously high bar for what constitutes "unusual death"
A surprisingly strong prison uniform vibe going on there
I only just finished watching it the first time!
This also reminded me of Shadow Hunters where there are three teams, and you don’t know who else is on yours but there are game mechanics to try to find out and, depending what you know, it’s not clear which team is winning at any given time.
I think this can definitely exist in big 4X games like Twilight Imperium where you’re not allowed to explicitly detail your secret objective but you can definitely make deals over temporary territory gains etc. and try to work with people to aid each other.
On your left/right idea, there’s a game called Between Two Cities where you are jointly constructing one city with your left neighbour and one with your right. Highest scoring city wins, and the tie of which owner wins is then broken by the score of their other city. Not exactly hidden but fiendish!
The exact scoring of these objectives quite often depends on the final board state so their value can’t be completely known even to the owning player during the game. Bunny Kingdoms is an example of this.
Maybe not quite what you’re after, but there are definitely a lot of board games where part of every player's score is based on secret objectives only known to that player (and which they may receive more of during the game).

we’re so over JJ now, give us Fransixxco
