Thanks Alan, hope you have a great evening!
I've been thoroughly absent from social media for most of 2025. It's been a tough year for many reasons, but there's been some good points in there, too.
I'll get around to explaining everything in due course, when the time is right, but for now, I just wanna wish you all a Happy Hogmanay π

Howdy folks.
Dropping by from my extended social media absence (hopefully ending soon ish π
) to say thanks for the birthday messages! Every single one means a lot.
And here's the obligatory birthday sales pitch: feel free to pick up one of my books as a treat for both you and me (π π)
I said I'd take at least a few weeks off between finishing book 2's first draft of my WIP series, but here I am, already starting book 3. I will never learn π
Finished my WIP after 6 months, so treating myself to a celebratory drink.
I know I've been quiet this year. Lots going on. I'll be back with an update soon. Hope you're all doing well!

Howdy. Once again, I've been absent from social media. Lots going on, but nothing exciting I'm afraid.
It's still a goal to be more active, but I've been focused on my WIP series.
Hope you're all good and staying out of trouble (or revelling in the trouble you're causing). Be back soon!
I forgot to share this earlier π
I was too busy working on my next WIP to meet my weekly target (which I achieved, btw π).
Anyway. Plotting Vs pantsing. Yes, another take on it but based on what I've found from my experience rather than another list.
Enjoy!

PANCAKES! π₯
I did make them before D&D, but forgot to share them with you all until now. Just know that they were delicious π€€
It's pancake day! π₯
Do I have time to forge myself before D&D? Absolutely.
What do you like on your pancakes? π€€
Sorry for the radio silence the last few days, folks. I've been a bit unwell but back on my feet and will get my new blog up tomorrow π
That's probably a good thing! π
Thank you so much! I was debating whether to write this, but I think it was quite cathartic for me, too π
I know I reposted this earlier in the day, but I just now finished reading the whole article. What a great piece of writing this is! I think thereβs a lot of good things to think about for indie authors in it, and even though itβs long, itβs well worth the time to read.

Thank you!
Let me know! I could have added more but then it would have been even longer π
This is sound advice, and if you're new to this game, you should read this.
Hell, it made *me* think about a few things a little differently, and I've been doing this for a while.
Awh, thank you! I'm glad it resonated! Definitely hesitated a few times with making it π
If you missed this last night, I reckon it's worth a read (of course I'd say that, I wrote it). You might find it useful π
I wrote a rather humbling list of the mistakes I've made self-publishing my first books. It turned out I'd made more than I'd realised as it's pretty long, but feel free to have a laugh at my stupidity (or naivety, whichever you prefer) and see if you can relate!

After a train ride opposite two 21 year old lasses, I feel older than ever.
I was never like that, surely.
Maybe it's the weight I've put on over the last year. Maybe it's the language. Maybe I'm just tired, but...damn, I'm old.
