It looked like the NPC alternated between trying to shoot it and bludgeon it to death. I guess the bludgeoning worked! LOL! Happily, the puppet injured the NPC sufficiently for me to get a quick kill.

The more I play #SCUM, the more I am impressed with its systems. Here, I found a gas station guarded by an armed NPC. Only having a pitchfork (the crossbow was out of ammo), I was going to avoid it...until I saw a puppet wandering toward the NPC. Would they fight? Yes! youtu.be/blH3oLMQWsM

If Bungie's #Marathon were more like #GrayZoneWarfare and offered a choice between PvE or PvP, it would be an insta-buy for me. But I grow weary of PvP games, so it will most likely be a pass for me. These days, PvP increasingly seems to me like an exhausted genre, mostly played by streamers.

This reminds me of hearing streamers demand that every game has PvP w/ VOIP support. In addition to being abused by Big Gaming (Saudi-owned EA, etc.), games are suffering under the provincial demands of the streamer-class that cares less about gameplay & more about their channel content. #PCGaming

I am glad to know that there is always a chance of meeting a deadly NPC; that they are not all going to be pushovers. I was worried about that. Now, I know playing Sandbox can be as unpredictable as playing against other players. Perfect!

Sadly, after 2.5 days on #SCUM island, my character met a sudden end. Ironically, he was confident, having successfully fought off countless puppets & NPCs. But he met his sudden end when an NPC armed with a serious rifle of some sort killed him with two accurate shots. I was stunned! 😭#PCGaming

Some luck in #SCUM. I found an abandoned railyard that had a shipment of seaford still loaded on a freight train! Looks like my food troubles are over! #PCGaming

Things went sideways for me in #SCUM. I set out to do some looting, but my motorbike ran out of fuel, so I had to hoof it a long way to the nearest town. My shoes disintegrated, giving me a foot injury. I shred my jacket for bandages. Worse, I also ran low on food! Still, the weather was nice! 😄
