This character has a duo that eternally lives in my heart! Her counterpart has quite a lot more changes though, so I'm pretty excited to talk about her!

Honestly, that change didn't change the character very much though. She has always been a character with a hard to balance weight of optimism and responsibility, and I'll probably never be able to let go of her! Even when she isn't the focus, she's always important to me.
Once I started working them into visual media, it felt very off to depict them as a young boy, especially as I expanded on their entire life from childhood to adulthood. In a way I grew up as this character did, and I honestly often imagined them as a young girl, so I made the change!

Lately I've been affectionally referring to them as onion because the hair very much reminds me of on xD. The original story had the character as a young boy, but written from the first person, the story rarely ever brought their gender up.
This character is so near and dear to my heart. As a kid, I never gave them a name, it was something that they culturally got to choose themselves and that was an idea that resonated strongly with me growing up. After all, names are so important, but rarely do we have a say in the matter.

Firstly, hi! To introduce myself, I'm the main writer and project lead, I'm @kelfiem.bsky.social. I've written for a while, and some of my characters even now are characters I have cooked up as far back as middle school. Looking back at those almost 15 year old stories, my characters have come far!
Going forward on Bluesky, I want to go through a lot of the ideas we have played with and my thoughts on them as a writer!
