@olsenforparks.bsky.social the full board is considering these two resolutions at the Feb 4th meeting right?
Is that a meeting that will need a lot of support for these resolutions?

Screen shot of met council's site saying The Mall Woonerf plan is not being implemented with the sewer improvements.
@wedge.live Do you know why the Met Council's website makes it seem like the MPRB long range plan for the mall is not occurring with the upcoming construction?
This looks odd given the March 5 vote to not implement the long range plan did not pass.

a chart comparing the energy consumption of various train technologies at different speeds, ranging from 22 kWh/km for a TGV duplex on the Rhine-Rhone route at 320 km/h, to 85 kWh/km for the Tokyo-Osaka Maglev at 500 km/h
The math showing how at 500 km/h and 122.6 km, assuming 1 G of acceleration, the trip would take about 15 minutes

A positive of the mild winter is more people have been able to take more trips by bike. Snow on the trail for the first time in 2024 made me remember how much I miss it. Winter biking is enjoyable even in snowier times!
I hope people that ventured into biking this winter give snow a try sometime.
Loved the video! Interesting concept
