asides from that i'm real damn excited for this one. it looks way more pretty than s/v and the overall charm and designs that pokemon's known for feels restored in this one, i can't wait 🥹

watched the direct, here's some "only been awake for two hours thoughts" on gen 10

- starters look too... plain? for once i'm torn on which one's my favorite, probs pombon
- the logos look way more vibrant and pretty than s/v did
- I LOVE THE PROTAG DESIGNS THEY'RE SO DAMN COOL 🔥🔥🔥

i know i've been slacking on the break, but given that i've seen this trend going around, i wanted to celebrate by talking about my favorite Pokémon, Empoleon.

Penguins are my fav animal, and this dude made Water/Steel my favorite type combo. Using it has never been a letdown.

Still in an FF mood, so I've begun Final Fantasy 6 now.

thoughts so far:
Terra needs a hug. Or two. Or twenty.
Took a minute to learn Sabin's Blitz ability, but once I did he became my favorite character to use.
On that note, I suplexed the Phantom Train today. Yes, it was worth it.

i think for the next little while I'll stick to checkups and discussions on games I've beaten. i still intend on being away from socials, but since I yapped about this game a lot, I thought the least I could do was tell y'all I beat it lmao.

i'll be back, I promise 💜

Some of the jobs do have negatives, and there are one or two sections that make me audibly groan in frustration, but asides from that, this game is freakin' spectacular.

The general FF community may not favor this one highly, but I do. At the very least, give it a chance.

5. Final Fantasy V (what cruel irony :3)

Holy cow. For what this game lacks in story (even though I love the story), this game SLAPS in the gameplay and combat department. V is just III but better in every way, and as it stands currently this is my favorite FF game of them all. (cont)

After repeatedly yapping about Final Fantasy V, I've finally beaten the game.

Hot take, out of all the one's I've played, this is my favorite FF so far. Higher than VII, even. Fight me >:3

Since this was done on the GBA version, I'll see how far I get on bonus content before I fully move on.

Having gone into it knowing ZERO info about the source material, I expected to hate this movie. But... I kinda didn't? It's not my favorite movie ever, but Markiplier went all out for this one and I can admit that he did an excellent job here.
