Instead of making a whole custom dimension to replace the Overworld like I have done, I decided to update the vanilla Overworld's forest biomes to make use of new feature tech and create a unique visual experience!

Of course it is still adding an unnecessary step and reasonably does still cheapen the final product no matter how good the artist, because if the art director gave a normal art brief, both parties would be on the same creative vision 100% of the time. It's a skill that can be learned.
I do understand the appeal and the difference for people who don't have experience in giving art direction. They don't need to be as detailed, at least at first, and knowing the AI won't generate exactly what they want, they can point to the mistakes it made and say "but do X instead of Y here".
For anyone looking to get into one of the most challenging parts of worldgen, this tool is a must-use! It's well worth learning it

This same comment got upset about the low durability not being a balancing factor because Mending exists. If they had talked to me like a normal person, I'd have gladly reassured them that the enchantment is exclusive with Mending. Instead, they get nothing but to wallow in their own rage.
You can ask about my creative decisions or just say you would have liked something different, that's fine. You're not owed a response or implementation of your preferences, but you're at least being respectful.
When you come at me like this, it puts me on an unfair defensive.
This kind of stuff is what makes YouTubers become jaded or quit. I'm here to make videos that I hope people will enjoy, yes, totally, and it is in theory useful to tell me when I missed the mark. But this kind of behavior is not real criticism, it is spiteful and mean.
I feel like I shouldn't have to explain why comments like this on my videos are just not appropriate.
There is sharing your thoughts, offering suggestions, and even genuine criticism, and then there is making your inability to not engage with things you don't like *my* problem.
