Is the Flatwoods Monster a Moscow Mule with blackberry & mint or...?
(I would make that by the pitcher, no joke.)

I have nearly waist-length hair & use the end of a rattail comb to get hair out of my brushes. Very low injury potential 😂
Might not work on a vacuum cleaner though. A seam ripper is smart!
Oooooooooooooohhhhhh!
The 4th one is calling to me. That asymmetrical ruching is structured but not in a way that I really like.
Temu sizing & material labeling are... unreliable at best, IME 🫤
Ulla Popken *is* boring but has good basics & the occasional natural fiber piece.
(I admit, I've lived in wide legged Old Navy tech pants & giant sweaters all winter - I like a cozy uniform - but they fit & don't feel weird).
Very much a "where will we bury them all?" vibe.
OOOHHHH, yeah, that makes sense now.
You are correct re: the energy though - it's a fun game to watch!
Wait, a goalie goal?? I missed a goalie goal?
A screenshot from the Finch app showing 2 birbs walking in a forest.
Just toodling around on adventures & playing dress up. Yep, that sounds good 😂
I love them & stock up every year - they were a childhood favorite 🥰
For some reason, Brach's has put out bags of all black & all spice jelly beans for the last few years, & I get those too.
I can't stand Peeps, though - ugh!
I gave up on LF years ago bc of just that - so much of it was a tedious slog.
People write beautifully in genre fiction & I prefer reading about romances or exciting adventures rather than depressed small town lit professors that want to bang undergrads.
I travel to Europe every other year or so, & every time I wish that the US would import more ideas from there.
Next spring I'm headed to France - knock on wood - to putter around Marseille & see what life is like outside Paris.
I'm sad that I'm both too old & too young to move to the EU.
5 or 3 - satisfyingly clicky
Is that an owl over in the corner? Being extra cozy?
My great-grandparents lived in Tsingtao for years teaching at an engineering university & evacuated ahead of the Japanese twice.
One of the international schools there didn't evacuate in time and the kids & staff were interned for quite a while.
Moving abroad always comes with risks!
He looks like a Wally to me.
Solid dude, forklift certified, great with kids. Can't you see him in a safety vest?
😂😂😂
I wish you were joking instead of being prophetic 🙃
I think he's got 4 of them up right now but, as an Irishman, he features potatoes often 💚
@daemonaac.bsky.social enjoy!
The thing about Capricorns is that we know to our bones that things can *always* get worse.
Until things permanently stop being a concern, that is.
More potatoes for your mental health - these are relatively uncomplicated compared to some of the other options.
If I can shortcut it, though...
Tricky part will be paying attention so I don't burn everything at the end 😂
I've always seared my chicken first when making chicken & rice, but I'll try broiling it at the end next time.
Oh, it's Sinead for me, then Disintegration & NIN.
I love the Eurythmics but I wore out 2 copies of Be Yourself Tonight in my teens, so that'd be lower on my list.
You know that scene in Raiders of the Last Ark where the Nazi stands up & gets propellered? Yeah, it's like that.
For glam/stage makeup, I keep a picture of the end result in my head & work backward & forward at the same time.
But if there's someone (a model or celebrity?) that has your desired face, maybe print out a pic, take it to a MAC counter, & watch what they do?
It's an art, like writing is ❤️
I have hooded eyes & a round face, so I've learned to fake bone structure that my peasant forebears *never had* to pass down 😁
My contour palette gets a workout, that's for sure.
But I've met people at shows (full stage makeup) then again later (no makeup), & they don't recognize me.
A continuity shot of Joe Locke in Agatha All Along showing his nail design.
Maybe start with a clear matte to sneak it past your inner censor? Then work up to the hard stuff? 😃
I really liked the nails that they did for Joe Locke in "Agatha All Along" - mostly clear with a small dark oval shape at the cuticle.
My little brother & I rather spectacularly fucked up a full batch of what we'd wanted to be saltwater taffy.
When he turned 30, we told Mom what we'd done to her tile counter (we'd chiseled hardened sugar lava off it with a hammer & screwdriver).
Mom doesn't believe in Statutes of Limitations.
I fuckin' LOVE Spam. Spam & eggs, Spam & O'Brian potatoes, Spam & split pea soup, Spam musubi... it's a miracle food! 😂
My blood pressure *doesn't* love Spam, but I'll risk it once in a while. Most of the special flavors are good, too.
