3 weeks in, seems like a good time to commit to the resolution
It seems like I find more reason to appreciate you more each day. Now I understand your resilience better, for 'tis but a scratch!
Pulses found and with rates increasing, neurons firing away and boots moving to send cheeks into outer space, hopefully.
Been behind on reading and posting here, but this feels like a time that Erik Larson would write about. Saw his The Splendid and the Vile on a bookshelf in a YT video and began to think our current moment is reminiscent of In the Garden of Beasts.
Definitely frame worthy!
Great bundle, thanks for the reminder!
Pretty sure the NYT Connections people are sadistic fucks
Two hosts introducing the next performer at a concert
And a night out in LA with some good company
A copy of Howl by Allen Ginsberg
I've been thinking of Howl for years after reading it in school, found it for 50 cents at a library sale. Just something about letting it all go in meter and with poetic density resonates with me. My thought processes often feel like this, so thought to check the source itself again.
Three Thanksgiving cards, still unwritten
A little behind on cards, still in my fairly mundane phase here
Book: Vegan Under Pressure
I need to visit the library shop more often, love getting a whole cookbook for a dollar. Some holes in the first page but otherwise undamaged ๐ค
Hello to the first person I've seen here mention Storygraph ๐
Need more of this in 2025. Will probably really need it ๐ซ ๐
Pink and purple flowers from a tillandsia plant
A burst of color in autumn
Now I can fully indulge in the grocery and retail (and the mall?) Christmas jams. I really loathe hearing them before Thanksgiving except for this jam by Vince Guaraldi, this one can always warm me up www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvK3...
Day late, but just wrapped up A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Now that I'm older, it feels a little odd to see lil Woodstock eating a turkey. Yes, it's a cartoon and birds eat other birds all the time and the feeling remains. Anyways, now that this moment is cleared, I can go all in on Christmastime ๐
Game, Poetry for Neanderthals
Thankful I can just be mundane here a moment before this becomes whatever it will become! Played Poetry for Neanderthals and found it a delight and easy to play with new friends ๐
Happy Thanksgiving! Just found your account through the Discovery tab and saw posts with some of my all time favorite and meaningful games! Glad you're here ๐
I would wake up early on school days just to get some extra game time in. FFI was also my first, but this is the game that really got my caught up in each character ๐

Hunt a Killer mysteries
Clue Conspiracy board game
A season for murder mysteries and conspiracies? Haven't played a bluffing game in awhile, currently telling others I am a terrible liar ๐
About the author, Dr Greger
Chocolate peanut butter pie Oreos
In other news, finished a book scrutinizing various diet studies and celebrated by trying these Oreos
"To grow a garden is to believe in tomorrow" -Audrey Hepburn. Plus I like the taste and will save a few bucks ๐ฐIf only I could plant money bags like in Animal Crossing
Couple resolutions made in the past 2 weeks, one to be a better friend, being more open to just being in it together. I'm inclined to being a loner but others have warmed me up to company. Second is to grow the winter garden, reminded I have winter seeds by checking Hive...
Been a couple weeks now and just been seeing who might be heading to various cabinet positions and other appointments. Seems like something out of a movie, or news we'd previously read about other nations. I'm still in the surreal state, I'm sure I'll feel the weight after New Year's.
You know where a bunch of us will be when you just need to BS a bit. Sending love until then ๐
Official ballot drop box
And now to see how everything shakes out. Not wholly sure I understood the local and state items too well, but gave each item some thought. Looking forward to clarification during post election newscasts
This is going to be quite the week starting with an RIP to Quincy Jones. Known your work if not your name my whole life. As I type this I'm hearing "Soul Bossa Nova." Earlier today I was enjoying Rashida in Sunny. Now I'll be seeing you in each episode.
At the age where I can read without glasses or use reading glasses with contacts. Thought I couldn't focus because normal glasses were getting scratched up, turns out I'm just getting old ๐ด
