100% legit.

I recorded voiceover for a game under a clothes-drying rack with a duvet draped on top.

When I put it like that, I see where the difficulty might arise for some (or not arise, as the case may be).

That any leader can declare any sort of war with causal flippancy is unthinkable to a degree that it hurts my mind.

I don't often post about these big things, but I think I'll remember the grim determination of "Bayonets on", and the heartbreaking reality of it forever.

War is awful.

In one of the Middle East wars there was a piece of news footage, following a British squad. They were moving into a building and gave the command "Bayonets on." Hearing that destroyed me: here we are in modern times, still getting ready to stab each other with pointy sticks.

For ppl who aren't aware:
Old temperate forests are insanely rare nowadays and extremely important ecosystems lost forever once cut.
They're not just "old trees" but intricate networks of trees, fungi and all kinds of living creatures.
You CANNOT replant this!! Once it's gone it's lost FOREVER!!!

That's the dream. I'm digging in the querying mines at the moment. Just got to keep going, and in the background working on new things. Currently four novels are sitting unpublished, and I'm confident two could definitely find their market niche, but it's all about finding that agent match!

Sir George Blount, of Kinlet, #Shropshire, was so angry at his daughter marrying a man he disliked, he vowed to haunt her after his death. And he did so, on one occasion charging into the Hall on his spectral horse and riding across the table when the family were at dinner.

Other than general ambient extreme caution, I've no idea how you'd spot those. And my paranoia says you shouldn't write the answer online because that'll only help them adapt.

What a world πŸ˜•

Watched Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead last night. Of the many things I could say, I think I'll just mention that Chekhov's gun is bizarrely and unsatisfyingly left on the mantlepiece.

Me too, including when giving lectures and other public speaking. While my colleagues catch colds, COVID-19, and the flu is laying waste to others around me right now, I've not had those for six years.

Kyiv survived through a horrible night today as Russia launched a massive drone&missile attack

Since sleep was already out of the question, several Kyiv residents chose to welcome the frosty dawn with a cup of coffee on Saint Volodymyr Hill.

Kyiv is so beautiful.I love this city

I know I usually post about video games, horror, and/or writing, but...

You should all watch the new The Muppet Show on Disney+.

It's fricking delightful and I want them to make more. Go watch it.
