Just here to give the insight I can on NDIS access.
You assessing your needs should be just about you. That formal diagnosis and it’s expense is weigh up that shouldn’t exist imo but like I said there’s still a lot of help available without it
NDIS funding for level 1 is easier if you have a psych that knows the system/annoyingly specific wording to use. So worth it to ask how familiar they are with that.
But also ‘unofficial’ diagnoses are very valid and resources exist elsewhere if you just want to know more about yourself
