Thsnks... It doesn't ship to the UK... but the website has some useful information... so I'll look into it... and see if I feel ready to try anything...

Do you also know about how to use the plants in your garden... I have many medicinal plants... but would not know what to use them for... how to prepare them... or have the confidence to use them... that comes from being told by someone with direct experience... we have lost this connection...
I love this #SaveSheffTrees plaque... on @sheffcitycouncil.bsky.social building... #Sheffield is such a wonderful city... ๐
I think they are probably the ones that are destined for my purple cardy... as they are the same as the ones that came off the old one... but I only had 3... I'm germinating ideas of another cardigan... possibly jade green... for the other buttons... unless I resurrect the ยฝ done navy 4 ply one...
10 bronze metal buttons with a slightly wonky spiral pattern, 10 bronze metal buttons shaped like flowers, and a postcard for Textile Garden (where I bought them)
A little parcel of treasure arrived in the post today... it's not going to be easy... deciding which of these wonderful buttons to use on my cardigan...
A brown glass vase containing 2 small bunches of lego flowers (Daisies and Petite Sunny Bouquet). I bought some extra pieces from the pick-a-brick range to extend the length of the stems.
That's why I couldn't resist buying them... when I treated myself to some lego flowers for my birthday...
Two lego plants. The one on the left has a rectangular pale blue planter, with a cute face, and looks like it is sitting down. There is a lego pilea (a succulent with round leaves) plant in it. The one on the right has a square pale yellow planter, with a cute smiling face, and is standing up. There is a lego dracaena plant in it, it has large green pointed leaves. The two planters look like they are holding hands with each other.
This morning I built the little lego plant set... that I bought for us... as an anniversary present the other day...
I knew that I had seen that somewhere... drove me mad too...
I remember going to the Basque country... and learning about a special ham... where the pigs were fed on acorns... but today's #FoodProgramme on #BBCRadio4 taught me... that this is probably because they lived alongside the cork oak trees... fascinating to learn about cork production...
I think my dad said that they are most likely on the left... and most people who have one aren't aware of it... or think that it's a mole...
My dad was a doctor... and while he examined patients... he would observe how many of them had extra nipples... I can't remember what percentage of people it was... but it was much higher than expected... it fascinated us as kids... apparently they grow in rows...the most he ever saw was 5 (3 extra)
People in Sheffield also seemed to think robins were unlucky... which I had never heard before... I think it might be to do with the blood and bandages thing... which made my neighbour think it was unlucky to wear red and white...
It's slightly different to the words I grew up with... but very similar:
One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for a girl
And four for a boy
When I came to Sheffield... lots of people also had a ritual... to make sure that seeing one wasn't bad luck... they would salute & say good morning Mr Magpie...
Whoops... forgot the link...

I have some fabulous earrings made from old china... from this person on etsy... I think sh does necklaces too...
I hadn't thought about the size of the pen... when I crochet... I hold a chunky hook in a much lighter more relaxed way... than a little thin hook... writing may well be similar...
We must be the opposite of most people... we eat mostly vegan... but lamb is the main meat we eat... it's difficult to get a chicken that has lived well... but british lamb feels like a less industrial process... it seems bonkers importing it from the other side of the world...
Interesting... maybe I should try it one day... I haven't touched a fountain pen since primary school... and nobody thought about it then... Do you have problems with smudges... or are you one of those lefties who holds your hand out of the way...
Metal sign reading Please... No stone throwing while anglers are in the water. It is in front of a concrete structure of two parallel low walls by a wide tree lined river.
Are anglers fair game once they've left the water? There will be reasons for this sign
I wouldn't dare have a fountain pen... I press on really hard... and the nib would splay in no time...
Glad to hear it went well... I hope you have a speedy recovery...
And the smell drifts over Sheffield... giving us a week of really horrible pollution... whenever they decide to do it...
I think it's more to do with who owns the land... if it's national trust... or national park... it has trees... if it's rich land owners with grouse moors... then nothing is allowed to interupt the 'traditional' land management... that makes them lots of money... they still like to burn them too...
Ooh... a nice double please... it's been a long day...
Ooh... thank you... I think I have actually found you now... I think you and Billy probably run around together... when nobody is looking... I'm glad you're not hiding in a scratchy old pile of sticks... I've been gardening today... and old sticks are so itchy...
I was going to say good luck... but it looks like I'm a bit late... I hope that everything went well for you...
I have actually done a bit of gardening today... now itching like crazy... and looking forward to discovering random bits of dead leaf... in peculiar places later...
Another #10MinutesInTheGarden... and the green bin is now really full... and all the ferns are pulled back... so that I will be able to see the lovely curly fronds... when they appear...
I got tempted to do a quick #10MinutesInTheGarden before lunch... cutting back a few things... and weeding the patio... managed to chop the cable for the solar lights... whoops... so had to order some new ones...
I didn't realise that you were another leftie... no wonder you have designated pens... and don't like other people using them...
