The Glastonbury Community League Annual New Year’s Day event was such a fun way to kick off 2026 - serving hot drinks with my team, fireworks, ice skating, and lots of great conversations with families from across the neighbourhood. It’s become an annual tradition for me and my constituency team.

Speaking with students and hearing their ideas for Alberta’s future is always a highlight for me. Thank you to the Grade 6 class at Parkland Immanuel Christian School for the thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity. You’re the future leaders of this province.

That's why my colleague, Kathleen Ganley, MLA for Calgary-Mountain View, introduced Bill 201: The Protect Workers' Pay Act. This act will ensure all workers, including youth, receive fair wages that reflect today’s realities.

People are working harder than ever, yet their paycheques are not keeping up with the rising cost of living.

All Albertans deserve a living wage.

Alberta now has the lowest minimum wage in Canada. In fact, Alberta currently has the longest period without an increase in the general minimum wage among all Canadian provinces and territories.
