Registrations for AltCtrlOrg are now publicly open! It is an independent event by passionate WordPress community people, focused on free speech and governance, to be held in Basel, Switzerland, on the evening of the first day of WordCamp Europe, 6th June. More than a 100 have already registered!

@altctrl.org will provide a safe space for conversations on power, governance, and community culture that aren’t happening publicly. On Friday June, 6th 2025, in Basel, alongside WordCamp Europe.

At the moment I wish our American friends will manage to muster the courage to put up a good fight against the orange real estate dealer and his thugs that is ruling them. It is a time for deep consideration of our fundamental and common values, ones based on democracy and institutions.

The world is at a crossroads. The USA and Europe stood as pillars of democracy and global stability for decades after World War II. It was not a road paved with roses but it was the best era in the history of mankind.
