2025: Stadium, this completely changes the way you play your heroes throughout customizing their kits through Powers, Items and even Gadgets to your ideal playstyle or be the most OP with the additional of being able to play the mode in 3rd person with new and modified maps!
2024: Heroes being able to passively regenerate health after not taking damage for some time which while it was sounded pretty controversial on paper when it did go live turned out to be quite a well-received changed and would feel weird without it in modes that doesn't use it.
2023: Story Mission, basically the Story/Campaign mode that we've been waiting for since Winston press the Recall button even if it didn't go as smoothly as they hoped given the poor sales which eventually led to them cancelling the additional missions planned after the layoffs.
2022: The game itself going Free-To-Play opened up the flood gates of new players which did shake up how content for the game is put out going forward which can be quite the debate of itself
2021: Cross-Play, this finally gave players across all platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch to be able to play and match up with each other without being restricted to single platform.
On a personally note, thanks to that feature I met so many friends!
2020: Improved Communications Wheel, this gave a way for more options to communicate with your teammate by being able to customize the wheel or set key binds to 26+ different communications you can use throughout the match so you can finally tell your teammates to "Fall back!"
