Like the time I came home for Christmas from uni to find my mum had given *all* my Star Wars and Action Force figures to a kid I didn't know. Luckily by then I was more interested in guitars and girls

A postcard sized watercolour painting by Jonathan Edwards of some buildings in his inimitable patchwork style. A multicoloured tower topped with an onion dome gives way to other multi levelled structures; behind these is a tower with three peaks

A lino print picture of a frog, seen from the side. The frog is facing right. Black ink on off-white paper. The picture is in a plain wooden frame and hung on a cream painted wall. The frog has an air of quiet stolid authority and self possession.

Over a year on, the eldest finally retrieved their GCSE Art coursework. This lovely froggy boy (boi?) is now in our stairwell

Still though, the Horned God slipcased edition was lovely; and I'm looking forward to Judgement on Gotham. This new Zenith though will have to be special to usurp the existing hardbacks given how good they are

Really intrigued to see how this looks. I can be a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to projects like this especially with material I love this much. Fingers crossed!

Nice interview. Something I've always loved about these guys is how while they take their work very seriously they don't seem to take themselves seriously at all.

Looking forward to March 2027!

Oh I must read this again. My supervisor at York gave me a copy he found in a charity shop when I was writing about Clarke and Wells for my extended 20th Century paper. Such an evocative book

Realising that I have Nemesis the Warlock book one in four different formats:

- 1980s Eagle Comics coloured reprints (with art revisions by O'Neill)
- 1980s Best of 2000ad Monthly reprints (these are off getting bound)
