Autonomy for people to make their own decisions about their life can not be reached unless there are systems in place to support every single Disabled person. We are nowhere even near that place. I say no. #AssistUsToLive #Disabled
Social care in the UK is already more than shaky and it puts disabled and elderly people's lives at risk. What's more it can cause family members to give up jobs - or worse, if the disabled person isn't loved, encourage them to think of themselves as a burden. #AssistUsToLive not die.
