Before 1960, The National Hospital for Nervous Diseases' logo showed just three of the four of the UK national flowers - rose (England), shamrock (Ireland) and thistle (Scotland).
The Hospital is now called the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) and has all four UK national flowers, since about 1961.
The current logo of The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, which was introduced in around 1961, including the daffodil this time. It replaced the three UK flower emblem logo that was in use from 1860 to 1961.
Todayβs images link Feb. and Marchβs #ExploreYourArchive themes, #EYAConnections, #EYAWildlife, and St. Davidβs Day.
After its centennial in 1960, the National Hospitals for Nervous Diseases (as known then), added the daffodil to its logo with the other 3 UK national flowers. Dydd GΕ΅yl Dewi Hapus!

No doubt many, many connections were made at this hugely popular event in 1881. Charcot stands in one of the bottom left-hand side groups.
