being on windows and caring about coherent ui is a pain, but in my experience the other options arent even really much better anyways

tbf, windows fucking explorer has this exact same issue. i wonder if they'll update the properties dialog to have darkmode by the end of the year, considering they're working on that for other parts of explorer lately

- photoshop: custom titlebar that fits in the stylings of windows 11 and is fully dark ✅
- premiere: native windows title bar.. but ugly white context menu bar oh my god i hate it i hate it
- illustrator: custom titlebar with aero buttons ???? in 2026??

the biggest issue with adove is how inconsistent the theming of their apps is on windows

though i do hope deprioritizing the AI stuff becomes more permanent

though there will always been some little issues with corporate software like this, i do think this is the best version of windows when you have the performance to carry it, and their direction for the future has me somewhat confident it will mostly just get better from here
