Magical Wakehurst Place
Ahh, Brighton β€οΈ
Love that I live round the corner from this crazy, beautiful palace. Itβs stunning at all times of day and night, but particularly lovely this morning.
ORIGINAL SINS - out now in paperback - is listed in the New York Timesβ thrillers & mysteries - after being a pick of the week on publication last year!
Almost 6 weeks sober so will celebrate with a sparkling elderflower π β€οΈ π
Our work has been stolen & used for the profit of a mega corporation.
The creative industries in the UK alone are worth 125 billion a year - but their value in wellbeing, happiness, inspiration & education is far greater.
We will be a much poorer country without them #dothewritething

Back home from India & on a journey of another kind - time for a bit of a mind/body cleanse, so am coming off the booze for a while. But thereβs so much else to enjoy in my fabulous, crazy little corner of the world, so although itβs a big, slightly intimidating change Iβm here for it!

And big love to my wonderful fellow authors for their kind words - it means a lot.
Mostly paved paths, very little mud, just the odd puddle - several people in chairs last night all seemed to be getting around fine
Itβs absolutely beautiful
Our annual pilgrimage to Glow Wild at Wakehurst Place. As magical as ever. Cocoons of light, ghost figures in misty groves, trees that change seasons in a moment, a dragon in a sea of fire, roots sparkling down into dark dells, whisper of birds & water.
Lovely few days up north - catching up with author friends at Newcastle Noir & then Scotland for snowy walks & fireside cocktails
