That is a hell of a day

Got in a car accident today. Everyone's fine. Physically okay. Mentally, I'm beating myself up even though I wasn't at fault. I just wish I didn't get in my car, you know?

Jetbrains Rider is now crashing on me multiple times a day on my Mac. Despite my Windows machine having issues with gaming performance, it (Rider) is reliable on there. I'm now primarily using VS Code forks for my .NET work on the Mac. It's a real bummer.

I fell down some stairs in Amsterdam at a software conference. I thankfully was able to grab onto the railing, so no face planting, but maaan my right foot hurt after that.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

Star Trek The Original Series scene. We're in a corridor on the Enterprise. Two non series regular crew members are standing behind Spock in a bodyguard stance. (Tough guy bodyguard vibe, not Kevin Coster/Whitney Houston bodyguard vibe). Spock is wearing a dress uniform with extra flair, medals, and pins, a golden sash, and has a goatee. He's looking at Kirk, who seems a bit cocky and is wearing a glittery fancy gold sleeveless uniform. Closed caption reads, "Terror must be maintained or the empire is doomed."
