La question n’est pas : « Suis-je l’expert ultime sur ce sujet ? » mais plutôt : « Suis-je la meilleure personne disponible pour éclairer le débat public, ici et maintenant ? »

Witkoff saying that the overwhelming majority in the four Ukrainian regions (Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk) voted to be part of Russia is preposterous. The 2022 referendums were sham. The majority in Zaporizhzhia live in areas under Ukrainian rule where there was no referendum at all.
In reality, Russia will be able to continue its attacks on Ukrainian infrastructures, since it has always claimed that these were military targets...

Merci au @lemonde.fr de publier ce soir ma tribune, écrite après ma relaxe par le tribunal de Créteil, qui faisait suite au procès en diffamation intenté par la chaîne RT France contre mon éditeur, l'INA, et moi-même. 1/3

"The ball is now in Russia's court", says Rubio after Jeddah talks.
Always has been, Russia can stop its war by simply withdrawing from Ukraine.
Also : same question as before, what guarantees for Ukraine?

Wish they could learn from Poles and Ukrainians
As Russia’s war in Ukraine enters its fourth year, and Trump mulls cutting military aid entirely, here are some ways to help Ukraine and stand with Ukrainians.
Will be there! Looking forward to meeting you in person!
Ce matin, on publiait ces reportages de @patricesenecal.bsky.social en Ukraine.

Today is a reminder of Zelensky's superhuman stamina and strength. He deflected deeply unfair vile attacks in his 3rd language and kept it together while two bullies threatened his country's existence and repeated the tired but infuriating propaganda tropes of the aggressor.
It is hard to imagine a worse outcome for everyone, except Putin. A catastrophic meeting, which ended up with Trump (again) telling everyone how hard done by he and Putin were, and threatening Zelenskyy. If Europeans have any hope that Trump might do the right thing eventually, it ends right here.
It is more targeted indeed, and Khartiya does have a good reputation so people might be attracted by that, but I'd be curious to know the actual impact of both
Also got one from Khartiya : “Hey friend! The Khartiya brigade is looking for like-minded people. We guarantee training, technologies, clear planning, modern equipment and payments up to 200k UAH. Our goal is to defeat the enemy and save the life of every soldier.”

3 years after Russia invaded Ukraine, what a blessing to be in free Kyiv and to honor the fallen.
Grateful for our army, our people and my dear friends who continue covering the war 💙

It is kind of ironic that Trump wants Canada as his 51st state, but all of his efforts appear to be turning America into Russia’s 47th oblast.
The US-russia partnership solidifies
My bet: There wont be any peace agreement in Ukraine during 2025. Ukraine will not accept one without security guarantees and Russia will not accept one with security guarantees. Peace will come only after Russia lose either on the battlefield or when their home front cracks wide open.
