Grammarly Is Offering ‘Expert’ AI Reviews From Your Favorite Authors—Dead or Alive The tool, offered by the recently-rebranded company Superhuman, gives feedback based on the work of famous dead and living writers—without their permission.

Once a simple proofreading tool, Grammarly is now bristling with AI features and a suite of "expert" agents based on the works of real authors. But the company doesn't ask permission and in some cases offers feedback from virtual versions of dead writers—including one historian who died in January.

It is a reminder that as bad as things are, they can always get worse. And we have to work to stop them from getting worse.

There were attempts at giving high minded excuses to hide imperialism, and funding was given to study the regions and peoples they were invading as opposed to cutting every possible study and contact with the outside world.

I find myself nostalgic for Bush's War on Terror, when warcrimes and wars in the Middle East were justified by lies and fictions. Bush and co were despicable criminals but they at least tried to hide it.
