Striking network of big, mature street trees
The canopy connects with new development that will have a huge urban green park on the roof.
Vancouver’s urban tree canopy, and the “kissing canopies” over the streets the mature trees create, are one of our city’s most important assets. Cooling, cleaning, beautifying and strengthening the city while integrating urban life with nature for livability. Great pics via @traffictrish.bsky.social

My husband and I actually question this on a regular basis. Like with discovering the Higgs Boson have we skipped timelines or something? It's also like the Mandela effect, with half of us remembering the before times when things weren't so messed up and the other half wiped of that knowledge.

Cereal is named for a Roman goddess.
Ceres was the Roman goddess of corn and harvests.
Ceres is *also* the name of the largest asteroid in the asteroid belt.
Kid tested, NASA approved.

An bronze horse head with a worn and fractured surface. Despite signs of age, the sculpture retains remarkable detail, particularly in the eyes, nostrils and bridle straps.
This marvellous life-sized #horse head made of gilded bronze belonged to a figural group of a #Roman emperor in a quadriga or a biga (a chariot drawn by four or two horses).
Found in Augsburg, dating 1st/2nd century AD
