At least opponents are finally saying why they dislike them out loud? We've had turbines very prevalently in Iowa since the early 2000s, I grew up near the first farm-scale project from 1999. Even up there, and in private conversations, I've only heard a handful of people complain about looks alone.

The Clive event posting here today is fun cuz the venue is so small and the crowd seems mostly staff, the juice is just not there anymore. My biggest interest is that the security prep over the weekend forced a neighborhood cat show (yes, like it sounds) to an alternate, more crowded venue.

Iowa feels pretty brownbackian at times as we slide into long lasting economic decline unique to the region, but I don't think that's quite risen to the 2.0 level yet.
