Once you know what to listen for, AI writing is like nails on a chalkboard (overuse of "It's not ________, it's ____________." similes are a dead giveaway).

A YouTube trend is to shortcut the script by feeding the outline into ChatGPT to turn it into a script. They think if it's still read out loud by a human, with clever animations or video editing, that we won't notice it's AI.

But AI writing is PAINFULLY obvious and hard to listen to. Don't do it

For sure - and subscription stuff like Nintendo Switch Online still has value, as it's selling the convenience of playing those games on your switch, anywhere.

I don't see why companies care so much about blocking emulation, when they're really only stopping people from buying secondhand carts

Doing the Lord's work

Emulation never stopped me from buying games - on the contrary, by being able to play the out-of-print classics "for free" it left me more money to buy new games with.

I rarely emulate anymore, but keeping that option available is GOOD for the games industry, despite what the greedy suits say.

Hey indies: I give you permission to create small fuzzy cute playable characters in your games that aren't mice.

We used to have hedgehogs and echidnas, bats, squirrels, possums, cats, bears, bandicoots, kangaroos, and whatever the heck a Klonoa is.

I really want to like this game - there's a lot of clever ideas (like literally punching the words out of enemies), and the fact that it's structured like an episode of the show (complete with the final level being the return flight home) had potential.
