it's a shared worry with a lot of us, i'm sure. i also hate it very passionately and working in webdev, it's really difficult to not explode with frustration all the time when everyone around me at my job is deeply entrenched in LLMs and "agents" while all i can do is watch as it chews up our repos

i’ve never actually managed to finish a gen5 game, ive gotten close once but always dropped it 🤔 hard agree with the move to full 3D too, i think thats why i like romhacks so much compared to actual new games lol

i was one of the weird kids who grew up on the game gear, so this felt pretty special. beautiful re-imagining all-round, art, music, everything. it was also nice that it wasn't necessarily frictionless, but not a super hard challenge, just a really fun smooth ride
