Iunno, it's just so weird for me, as somebody who was an out queer in the first couple of decades of this century to see this rewriting of history where the "debate" about gay rights then was this genteel, public spirited conversation. They blamed the gays for hurricanes and earthquakes.

I remember being at Manchester Pride in the late 00s getting into a shouting match with the weirdo Christians who kept lying and saying we wanted to legalise CSA. Then an actual physical fight happened.

Like this narrative that the campaigns for equal marriage were a friendly public conversation where everybody respected each other is wild as fuck. It was only about ten years ago and you guys kept implying we wanted to fuck dogs.

The thing is that I distinctly remember opponents of gay marriage crying and kicking their heels and claiming to be oppressed by the mean censorious gays all the time.

I can’t believe today is two years since we released Snufkin. That game took over 4 years to make and when we released it, we had completely run out of money. On launch day all staff was in “temporary layoff”, a system we have here in Norway, not knowing if they would return or not.

I think the connection to viruses is a really interesting one.
