Skokie woman held by Border Patrol at O’Hare - Evanston Now Family says she was released Saturday morning from detention center in Wisconsin after nearly 48 hours.

Sunny was held at O'Hare, then seemingly taken to Broadview, where CBP lied to Rep. Krishnamoorthi (saying she had been released at O'Hare) and to Cook County officials (saying she was never there). Meanwhile, she had been taken to Wisconsin. And we don't know where her non-citizen coworkers are.

I always look at the the profile and skyline before I make a comment like that...!

She stepped in at the last minute and almost pulled it out in spite of all the haters "on the Democratic side" and high-level international propaganda on the Republicon side.

It's amazing she came as close as she did.

She ran a good campaign in my eyes, and in the eyes of anyone else who was desperate to avoid a second term of tRUmp.

A lot of individuals made wrong decisions too, and are now trying to justify themselves as they realize how badly they screwed up by helping tRUmp win.

I think we should allow Trump to choose Iran’s next leader as long as the rest of us can choose America’s. Because it’s clearly far too important a job to be left in the hands of Americans.

She was not a niche candidate and she had way more than a small fringe of supporters.

We can continue this conversation when you and your compatriots admit that allowing a second tRUmp term means turning a blind eye to genocide in Gaza.

Until then, I've had enough of trying to explain real world politics to folks who would rather ride the purity pony to worldwide disaster.

The "no compromise on genocide" folks definitely did NOT spend as much time "warning about tRUmp" & his evil intentions for Gaza as they spent bashing KDH.

And you know it.

I am old, a radio person at heart, who usually only listens to podcasts.

But folks who grew up on TV & other screens use the expression in people's eyes & on people's faces in deciding whether a voice can be trusted.

I disagree with using visuals that way, but I'm not your desired audience.

The average smartphone takes decent basic video, and uploading to YouTube is easy as pie.

My comment is for everyone parroting this talking point, not just you.

They weren’t “predicting”. They were trying to warn people. Both women are astute observers of people and would have read P25. Most Americans don’t observe others critically or read much at all.

They put 2 & 2 together and knew most Americans had not. Far too many people just won’t believe women.

look around at the state of the country and the world right now.

If you really understood the evil tRUmp was capable of, then not being tRUmp should have been enough!
