Cleaned up my tech stack lately:
• Installed Gentoo Linux (kernel + NVMe wrangling)
• Containerized Whisper for captions
• Prototyped a two-container portfolio site
• Building a heart-rate monitor for streams

Next: automation + polish.

Well, here we are again. Back on the job hunt. I have greatly enjoyed my time with XU but it is time to move on.

To my colleagues and students: Thank you!

On my way back from work early. Taught my class today, but I'm already exhausted less than half of the way through my day.

Update: Doctor visit took way too much out of me and I will not be streaming today.

Missed the Saturday stream due to migraine hangover - going to try to do a musical thing this afternoon to make up for it after a doctor visit.

Woke up with my hip screaming in pain. I won't be working today, which is unfortunate as I was really looking forward to teaching today, but the thought of riding on public transit is agonizing. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Jealousy is a normal, natural emotion - I don't think it's a red flag by itself. This idea that people shouldn't feel their feelings is so ridiculous and toxic and I'm tired of it. How the jealous person handles it is the important thing, in my opinion.

This visit did not go well. It turns out that my heart has deteriorated more than I thought - they’ve drawn a bunch of blood and done some other tests whose results I now await, and I’m on some new meds so yay?

Am waiting at the doctor to follow up on my latest meds - wegovy. I’m happy with the weight loss, but the muscle pains aren’t fun and I plan to see what I can change, if anything, to make them easier to bear.
