Part two of our field trips today brought us to Dale Hodges for a tour of the storm water treatment site for NW Calgary. Great to see the city repurpose a piece of land with such a history!

Part 1 of our field trip today saw us through the Bowmont Slopes restoration site where we learned about the techniques of revegetating the sandy southern facing slopes in the area. We also heard about the challenges of balancing the public and ecology.
