Testing the official Bart Simpson Phone from 1990.
It's Mar10 Day, and that seems as good a reason as any to post a thread of the notable Super Mariology studies I've been doing on Thrilling Tales of Old Video Games.
First up: SMB2 was made *after SMB3. That's why it looks better.

I'm in for a Mothman. Best of luck to the YHS crew with their Kickstarter! #Cryptoids
Let's get silly this #TurtleTuesday. NECA gave us new turtles based on the art of Jim Lawson years ago and they needed a new Shredder to fit in with them stylistically. NECA delivered, but unfortunately also stuck him in a two-pack with a variant you might not want.
Oh man, I wish! I love the Gamecube one and it's barnstorming single player mode. The Wii one was fine, but not as fun.
I was a fan as a kid and am in for the four busters, but that Janine is tempting.
Is this how Fox came up with Scooter?!
He did? I remember that guy Tech n Collect taking a bunch of orders for Turtle Vans and Mousers and then disappearing.
me paying $30 in gas to buy imported things that have been hit with tariffs bc joe rogan is learning about politics at age 58
In box shot of JoyToy's new 1:18 scale TMNT Turtle Van toy.
Oh, look! Another Turtle Van! I really needed another one of those!
Thanks for taking part in our recent charity drive for the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota! This afternoon we sent $3351.65 to this very good cause. Still waiting for Patreon to release a little over 1K more into our business account; when they do, we'll donate the remaining amount ASAP
Fantastic piece, and yes you should give Bucky a shot. It's like the best of Konami run n gun and Mega Man platforming all in one game starring a green rabbit.
I also more recently noticed they changed the front of the robe to remove the black portion. Not sure why as we're probably talking a matter of pennies per unit.
Revel in Nintendo nostalgia as I attempt to track down the first instance of Nintendo crossing over one franchise with another.
Bucky had a better game than anything starring a turtle.
I was so excited for the Grimm's Fairy Tales Blu Rays a few years ago so I could watch them with my kids, but they didn't really take to them. I need to make time for myself to watch them.
No on the Mary, just a microphone stand and some extra heads and hands.
Super7 Ghost Ultimates! Papa V Perpetua action figure with his arms pinned to his sides due to a heavy, non-removable, plastic overlay draped over his shoulders.
Got the new Super7 Papa V in today and was happy to see they fixed the issue with the soft goods not fitting right by mixing in sculpted parts to lay over the robes. Unfortunately, what you see here is the extant of his arm articulation because of that.
So many companies need to learn this lesson. If nothing else, they should at least offer full sets. I can't imagine they're actually selling more with the blind box model, but then again a lot of companies do it so what do I know?
I think we have to put our heads in the sand a lot as consumers in order to be able to enjoy things, but WWE has reached the point where one would have to bury their head in concrete. And they hit that point a long time ago so stuff like this is just piling on.
Who likes dinosaurs? I think everyone, but certainly Boss Fight Studio as they've dedicated a whole product line to big, muscley, dinosaur men competing for real estate on your toy shelf. And today I'm looking at two releases from the Saurozoic Warriors - Staze Akiden and Javvik Mosa!
I have this thought a lot because my cat loves to sleep on the top step of the stairs in my house. I think she's trying to murder me.
I've seen those and they don't look bad. I found his torso is basically the same size as the Legends one. It's his legs that seem to make him shorter than those figures. And the head and neck area which is chunkier. I'm at peace with it and my VHS Cyke will stay with my Legends.
Did they come with breadsticks? They should definitely come with breadsticks.
Yup, I don’t feel like it's fair to hold it against the figure, but also if you want it to fit in with your Legends then I get why someone wouldn't want to drop a hundred bucks on it.
Yeah, he's pretty close to the key art for the series and pairs with the Storm figures pretty well. Many are just unsatisfied with how short he is compared with Legends figures (and he is stupidly expensive).
A collection of action figures featuring characters from the video game Marvel vs Capcom (left to right): Ken (Storm Arena), Ryu (Storm Arena), Wolverine (front, Hasbro), Venom (rear, Hasbro), Cyclops (Bandai), Silver Samurai (rear, Hasbro), Iron Man (Hasbro), Mega Man (front, Jada), Captain America (Hasbro).
I know a lot of folks are down on this Cyclops, but this looks pretty cool to me.
