I was 20 albums from the end and it markedly dipped with some very late Madonna, The zutons, the klaxons and basement jaxx (jarringly bad).
Actually there was a Richard Thompson album on there that I liked, Bright lights.
The rest was garbage.

Oh god, it really drags when you've being doing it for 2 and a half years.
I was surprised by 3 albums on the list, a missy elliott and an Alice cooper were great. And then mezzanine by massive attack has not aged well at all ( to my ears at least). Rinsed it on release, lasted three songs at 48.

I completed 1001 albums last year, all the pink floyd albums featured receved zero stars from me.
There's some real dross in the 1001 albums list.

On his podcast Adam Buxton talks about his experience on mastermind. His specialist subject was David Bowie. He is a lifelong fan. He said that when he started researching to prepare for Mastermind, he realized he knew a lot, but also very little about Bowie.

Yep. Visited my mum two weeks ago. She gave me loads of Homemade chutneys.
Glorious but also cheese consumption is up. Considerably so.

Film question: can't remember the name. Fictional, set in Belfast during the troubles it features the undertones. I think it's set around a record shop, loosely.

Yeah I listened to Clap your hand say yeah the other week. Both that and wolf parade were on quite heavy rotation around that time.
Wolf parade is the better of the two.
