Will it apply to those wishing to renounce their citizenship too? Because I imagine that is going to create a challenge where the very demand is the reason one would wish to dissociate from a country that tolerates such an odious government.
Yes, I got it, but it’s hilarious to me that he kept going on and on about how Mexico was going to pay for his silly wall, but now that Canada actually has paid for a bridge, he wants to prevent it opening because, well, it appears, because he’s not getting a kickback.
Canada really did pay for that, and he _still_ doesn’t want it to open.
It’s all theatre anyway, since any time the Reeve of Ontariariario wakes up and notices Tronno has done something he doesn’t like, he passes provincial legislation to overrule it.

I had been left a little meh by @todmaffin.com’s efforts promoting Canada until today’s suggestion (youtu.be/r89f8-G5dfg) for the Carney Cup. Sublime.
It seems to me part of the challenge is that the Rs have been working to establish something remarkably like the current blow-up-the-gubmint stance that this administration is so effectively implementing. If you want to extirpate that threat, a lot of people need to be arrested & executed.
Who decided bingo was the plan? Trump’s got to be the only person who went broke running a casino, so a different gambling game seems risky. Or is it that bingo games can often get skimmed, so this is a new way to pay off the Trump family?

Think of the irony if now is already the beginning of the revolution that briefly dismantles the power of the overlord class that decided to bet on Trump rather than law as the thing that would keep them in power.
For sure, but the challenge with DoJ is that everything else needs that foundation. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I think the murder of CDC is a crime against humanity. But how you put anything back together when the law is meaningless is hard to see.

Hmm, I don’t think this works. The failure to convict Trump on his second impeachment, and the successful portrayal of every prosecution of him as some political move means that doing what you suggest becomes just another step in delegitimization.
Tbh I don’t understand how the U.S. rebuilds from weaponizing the DoJ. There is simply no federal law enforcement mechanism that can possibly be trustworthy in future.
Why is @cbcnews.ca promoting WH talking points about how successful the U.S. has been in Venezuela? I mean, the beginning of all the Forever War years had lots of celebrations too. Ask W how accomplished the mission was!

There’s an enormous number of people who think that any management job not doing direct line-supervising is a stupid waste of time where people all take 19 hour lunches after 18 holes of golf. So it’s not so such a stretch to buy this lie.

I have learned that my gas company (Enbridge) is doing “planned online system maintenance” for the entire (CA) thanksgiving weekend. Friday night until Tuesday morning. What are they going to do? Grow the silicon? Imagine the luxury of a 3 day shutdown window!
