POLCOM is back from the summer and fresh from a team retreat in rainy Neusiedl am See ☔️ where we brainstormed new research ideas, explored collaborations and knowledge transfer, and discussed team infrastructure. We are ready and excited for the coming semester!
Main takeaways of my new study: False info and social bots were not that prevalent on Persian Twitter during #mahsaamini movement. Incivility was found in half of the, and users were mainly ordinary accounts writing about everyday happenings, not politicians, journalists, or media!
