In her job, Rodríguez has reported several stories that hold ICE accountable, and it’s unclear whether her detention was retaliation. As of Thursday afternoon, she was in Alabama en route to an ICE processing center in Louisiana.

Noem is out largely due to massive public activism, especially in MN, Democrats expressing increasing interest in impeachment and investigations, and resulting media coverage.

Keep pushing. These people are not invincible or immune from public opinion.
