Only Photographs No Politics! Most of my content will be from morning walks with my dog around Metro Vancouver. Some wildlife, some urban kitsch, seaside, forest, and interplay between man and nature. Typically using Fujifilm XT-5 with 70-300mm or 16-80mm

As the Sun Sets, Goodnight.
Fittingly from as west as we get at Tofino on Vancouver Island.

Rounding the Bend.
Another iconic view, this time it's the Seawall at Stanley Park at Siwash Rock.

Return to Rubble.
This iconic image of the crumbling beam engine reminds us of the stark livelihood of the tin miners who worked to survive along the Cornwall coast.

Bottom Beak just hanging out.
This is our neighbourhood crow which has lost its top beak.
We've been neighbours for at least 4 years and it continues to thrive and let me take photos.

Mother Mary, Pray for Us.
On one of my neighbourhood walks.
I recognize that De Bouville Slough scene, one I have photographed a few times myself. Very nice with the clouds.
Swabbing the Decks, or should I say Arch Top?
I was so intrigued watching this worker cleaning the arched "roof" of this mega-yacht moored at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.
I think I got a good pose for the shot which required a panoramic format for the most impact.

The remains of the Cornish Beam Engine at Levant Mine with the chimney nice framed in the arch.

The scale of the Aqueduct at Segovia is amazing.

The Descent into Othello.
The Othello Tunnels are located near Hope, British Columbia and are a series of abandoned rail tunnels and now part of a scenic hike in Coquihalla Canyon Park.

Youβre welcome, I canβt recall the smell just the amazing architecture.
The reflecting cistern of the Alcazar.

Forest on Fire.
These bare birch tree are dramatically contrasted with the rising "fire" done with a double exposure ICM technique.

A self portrait π
A coat of many colours, the Pacific Tree Frog often is bright green but can also be found with the brown tones and can sometimes morph between the two.
These tiny frogs are about the size of my thumbnail.

A Prideful Pose.

Way back in 2018 at the Pride Parade in Vancouver, I just love the way the beard was coloured and sparkled.

Tunnel Vision.

When you get the front jump seat on the commuter train through the tunnel. Hold steady and let the train do the moving.

A walk through fallen leaves.
A bit like a Renoir Impressionist vibe.
Iβll follow along and read the blog too. Cheers
