I used to have a clock that would arbitrarily change by an hour. Given how incapable I am of logical thinking when I wake up, it was confusing af.

A small stuffed ball made of pentagonal fabrics is about 2 inches across. The fabric featured in this picture has Piglet on it.
The same ball from the opposite side features a thistle.
And it's done!
Where the hell is my needle threader? I had it 5 minutes ago. I'm working at a little TV table, with all the wee fiddly bits in a tray. Didn't leave my seat. I've looked all around and in the chair, the floor, checked my supplies bag 6 times.
That's what I'm leaning towards. Oldest likes B, no surprise there. But Youngest also liked B. I assumed that would be at the bottom of their list.
His hair is its own character!
When I was narrowing down my choices for everyday, I realized they were almost identical! Slight variations in color pattern and shape. I guess I know what I like!
Four glasses frames are labeled with letters. Frame A has squarish lenses and large pink and green flowers. Frame B is the same shape and has a dark background with small flowers. Frame C is solid aqua color and rectangular frames. Frame D is the same but olive color. Large arrows point to the matching sets of frames. Another frame is labeled as the final choice for my everyday glasses. They're teal and brown and black marbled pattern. The lenses are squarish but more cat-eye than any of the other frames.
OK, public opinion time (for a given value of public)
I'm down to these choices for sunglasses. A/B are the same frame, different colors. C/D are the same frame. The cost difference is negligible - $3. I'll go with dark lenses.
There was a sky blue Karmann Ghia for sale near where I worked after college. I lusted after that car!

With a family of 7, no road trip is too long. We went from central NC to AZ along the southern part of the country. Then up to CO for a family reunion. Went back via MT and WY down to MO and east from there to home.
Twice now I've almost hit that orange cat with my car. He darted in front of me and I couldn't see where he went. I had wait, still half in the street, and honk until he ran away. ๐ก
Lowly Worm is wearing a blue suit, red bow tie, and a green hat with a jaunty yellow hat band. He is driving his apple car and looks happy.
I don't need a big car at all. I bought one bigger than I need (but still not BIG) so those huge SUVs would see me over the hood of their truck. Much rather be driving this
It's always fun to look at your fabrics to see if I recognize any from my own stash! Bottom row, left of the camo -- I think I have that one but it might be a different colorway.
I forgot to add the coffee when I made coffee. I need coffee to make coffee.
My altar is set with personal artifacts that link me to my women ancestors. A large marigold blossom rests in a crystal bowl, ringed by my maternal grandmother's coral necklace. A locket is open to show tiny photographs of that grandmother, my aunt, and my uncle. Next to that is the watch fob my grandfather carried. At one side of the altar is Ma Broon's Cookbook and on the other is a pewter skill with Celtic knotwork engravings.
Asking my foremothers to grant their protection.
I think that's what happened to me, too. Rest well, friend!
I prefer middle when they're hot. I like the edges when cold. And since I live alone, I get them all anyway! ๐

"No, Barbara. The proper way to do it is like this. And is that what you're wearing?"
6 years ago, I said to a friend that I didn't want to live through a revolution but there needs to be one. Now more than ever.
Hypothetically, if I were gonna be in The DC Metro Area and looking for a nerdy Friday evening event, where would I even start? ๐
It's got to be higher. I've been assaulted 3 times, and that doesn't include the innumerable boob and butt grabs or the implied threats of "you just need the right man."
No idea.
Apparently, my mental health day involves sitting on my patio, enjoying the weather, and playing phone games.
Gee, I wonder where Bernie got fleas after 8 years of being an indoor cat.
Outside Cat > patio furniture > me > Bernie. ๐ก
I shopped there for literally decades. When Oldest was 3, whenever she was complimented on her outfit, she would strike a pose. "It's Tar-jhay!"
I haven't been in a year or more. Sometimes it's hard to find the things I relied on target for, but I won't go back.
