Never heard of it, and focus on color is seen as problematic in my circle. It’s been white people curious about what color my baby would be, and I don’t see it as endearing. Also African typically isn’t the same culturally as Black American.

Yesterday baby grabbed my hand when I reached back to calm her with a pacifier. She held it the whole ride. And this is the 1st time she’s done something new that didn’t cause me to bawl my eyes out. Maybe her getting bigger isn’t so scary.
