Handsome fella!
Handsome fella!
I'll just leave this here so everything's in one place: thisweekinworcester.com/exclusive-ai...
I'll put you down as "A" because of your #2 and because "B" doesn't fit any of your uses
Poll: What do you, random Bluesky user, think is the intended primary purpose of a face cloth (smallest item in a bath set, often called a "wash cloth," as here: www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/gulv...)?
A: To scrub/wash the face and other body parts.
B: As a towel to specifically and only dry the face.
David Eby, on camera, admits that he axed the carbon tax because of corporate lobbying. Cutting it made life more expensive for workers and cheaper for big polluters.
He says BC is too dependent on resource extraction - and yet their plan is to triple down on American-owned gas projects.

there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for
The asymmetry of the value placed on human life is so striking. Israel has a goal to recover 40-year-old remains; to do so, it invades a sovereign country, and the lives of 26 Lebanese are an afterthought. Their names not even worth printing in the New York Times.
The ones I've seen have been adults. Maybe conventioneers?
We've moved so far beyond satire, you guys

Local Massachusetts weekly says it's confirmed that the Pentagon was relying on Claude for strike targeting, which is how they came to bomb a girls' school.

Also interesting to look up "peace through strength" and see that it was made a foreign policy slogan by... Neville Chamberlain, famously not good at maintaining peace en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peace_t...
Spanish PM Pedro SΓ‘nchez:
You may have heard that Spain is alone. Theyβre the same people who said that when we recognized the State of Palestine, and then others followed.
We are not alone β we are the first. Those who will end up alone are the ones defending the indefensible.
As you fill up with gas that's now up 20c/litre in a week, remember who profits. Cdn oil companies made $150b after-tax profit after the last oil spike (2022). An excess profit tax redistributed to consumers would ease the pain. My take in @thestar.com: www.thestar.com/business/opi...
I keep seeing packs of tourists on matching bikes. It can't be cruise ship season in Victoria already, can it? #YYJ
Surprising? I guess you haven't met us.

It was a beautiful rainy afternoon to jump in the Gorge, and now it's a perfect evening to get cozy on the couch and eat Chinese food. #YYJ
Arial (CEO) and Fiona (AI in humanoid form of head and torso on table)
This is all reminding me of the creepy CEO/humanoid "relationship" in Silicon Valley s5
Running for Congress on a platform of sneaking into Polymarket HQ and unplugging all their stuff. Overflow crowds at a local Knights of Columbus hall roar with delight as I promise to pour Florida's Natural Grapefruit Juice (with pulp) into the USB-C port of every computer in the damn place.
βAccrington Stanley? Oo are they?β
βExactlyβ
And that is why they must win.
Israel is bombarding, literally bombarding, two Middle East capitals, Beirut and Tehran, killing 100s of civilians, and yet the US and UK media continue to portray Iran as the threat to the region.
Israel has nukes, but Iran is the nuclear threat.
We live in Orwellian times.
Headline: A 30-year high!
Story: Still smaller than it was before the austerity of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Despite the claims from the usual austerity-minded commentators that the sky is falling and spending needs to be slashed, B.C. has a revenue problem, not an expense problem, writes @alonghurst.bsky.social. #bcpoli
Elon Musk has already started plans to launch a million satellites.
Yes. A MILLION.
This is a colossally bad idea, and it's not too late to make your voice heard. I explain everything:

Today the Israelis ordered the evacuation of the southern suburbs of Beirut. This included a couple Palestinian refugee camps. People who were displaced during the Nakba or in 67, settled in Beirut and now their grand/great grandchildren are once again displaced.

screenshot of Ataulfo Mango for sale for $1.79 each, on sale from $1.89 "currently in stock at Real Canadian Superstore Langford Parkway"
I checked the local(ish) Superstore just in case they had this deal too, because I would absolutely drive to Langford to stock up on 24-cent mangos. They're currently $1.79, which I would normally consider a fairly good deal.
Holy shit! That's amazing.

The surgery to remove the lesion was a success! Testing should screen some cancers in about 2 weeks. Others may require further diagnostics. The important thing is she isn't bleeding any more.
Sorry to continue to beg but if you can help:
