I can attest--stayed at a hotel in St. Louis during the Osama Bin Laden days and oh boy you could not relax at all with the ten large screens booming CNN across the breakfast buffet/lounge.

Very sad to learn of the death of Robert Hill, author of 'The Biographical Dictionary of Canadian Architects 1800-1950’. We had many pleasant correspondences about architecture, architectural writing, and especially architectural photography. He made a huge contribution and will be greatly missed.
Ontario's Financial Accountability Office says over 800,000 households in Ontario need subsidized housing. Municipalities pay 56% of the costs of subsidized housing, followed by the federal government at 30%,with the Province contributing only 13%. #onpoli

I had a three hour brunch with besties today including travel because we got a guided tour of Orleans from someone who lived there 40 years ago (I have basically never been). It was fun and probably good the restaurant cut us off at 2 cups of coffee. 10/10

Low down on Ottawa weather is it's gonna rain and be warm this weekend to kill the Canal, ice fishing, and skating, and then snow ten CM on Tuesday. So not over the hurdle yet but starting to smell a bit more like spring.

Well I'm relieved its green bin so a 311 response, albeit slow. We are in such a weird place where Miller has all the contracts but depends what they are doing either working for city or province. And their rules change every minute. Your blue black box saying fibres only was my last straw.
