A very grumpy looking toad with a big frown sitting on some leaves.
grumpy and hiding under the covers
so much for all your highbrow, Marxist ways youtu.be/3NoIusrv9OA?...
It's no coincidence that perhaps the worst era in discontinued food history lines up perfectly with the exact window in time when "She's So High" by Tal Bachman was popular...really makes you think
@ladybugspicnic.bsky.social not a bird, but a snail with epic sass.
we actually knew each other 10,000 years ago. we were both frogs and lived in a pond together but you forgot.
I can attest--stayed at a hotel in St. Louis during the Osama Bin Laden days and oh boy you could not relax at all with the ten large screens booming CNN across the breakfast buffet/lounge.
LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH
Lots of duckweed and a small bullfrog giving the world a side-eye

Very sad to learn of the death of Robert Hill, author of 'The Biographical Dictionary of Canadian Architects 1800-1950β. We had many pleasant correspondences about architecture, architectural writing, and especially architectural photography. He made a huge contribution and will be greatly missed.
Ontario's Financial Accountability Office says over 800,000 households in Ontario need subsidized housing. Municipalities pay 56% of the costs of subsidized housing, followed by the federal government at 30%,with the Province contributing only 13%. #onpoli
If you ever want to read a paper for free and can't find it otherwise, email the lead author and politely ask for a copy. You will not be bothering the person. You will in fact make their whole entire day. I have had scientists get so excited I asked they sent me everything they ever published.
Oh geeze, I assumed this was a band and went to look them up.
This is what I am going to do tomorrow.
neat
I am struggling most with mornings, so to think I am going back to darker skies while I try to haul my depressed ass out of bed is not inspiring.
So fun!
I people keep celebrating that it will be dark at 7pm next Sunday, but isn't it just because we are changing the time on the clock?
The change is a bit too wild, It's a really tough year. I am glad you aren't either.

I love this so much
I had a three hour brunch with besties today including travel because we got a guided tour of Orleans from someone who lived there 40 years ago (I have basically never been). It was fun and probably good the restaurant cut us off at 2 cups of coffee. 10/10
I had no idea there was an OG Saw.
Throw that right on top of some spaghetti and you are ready to go.
They had a good selection and then stopped and now it's all sugary selzers and big brand beer it seems
Low down on Ottawa weather is it's gonna rain and be warm this weekend to kill the Canal, ice fishing, and skating, and then snow ten CM on Tuesday. So not over the hurdle yet but starting to smell a bit more like spring.
I hope this is one of those rare years where we don't get any snow in March. I don't know it's ever happened TBH.
People in smiths falls who need a new recycle bin have to go pick them up in Ottawa (Stittsville?) I need to keep a list of all the bananas things I have seen/heard through this.
Well I'm relieved its green bin so a 311 response, albeit slow. We are in such a weird place where Miller has all the contracts but depends what they are doing either working for city or province. And their rules change every minute. Your blue black box saying fibres only was my last straw.
