I saw some cool #animals at Lake Apopka in Florida. I loved how they did not care about me, but were just busy living their best lives.
As a person who survived the disco era AND the 90s, JFK Jr’s admission is totally gross. All that coke snorted off toilet seats has led us to measles outbreaks, death, vaccine suspicions, more death, and raw milk. Feckin’ hell.
Clearly this cat does not associate a car ride with the vet. This is a dream cat.
I also loved it. It was so strange to read Tom’s romanticized nostalgia for the 1990s. I also got a bit of a chill when I learned that America is in the grip of tribal warlords. Feels possible.

I don’t trust this. “Effectively” dead is not 100% dead - unlike the victims of ICE thugs. It’s a Saturday, so offices are closed but take 10 minutes to email your senators. Mine are Padilla and Schiff, and I just wrote them a letter each. I’ll follow up with a call on Monday.
