The Silence Isn’t Yours: A Manifesto This work began in silence. Not the silence of forgetting — the silence imposed when I tried to tell the truth of my trauma and was erased.

The last of my new projects is Silencing Survivors, which examines how voices of trauma survivors are silenced by online content moderation systems. Although it covers technical sides of moderation, it is also a look at how sexual trauma survivors are treated by society.

i get it. FB was easy, but IG was harder. Bluesky isn't a 1-to-1 replacement for what it offers. It's basically the Old Twitter, with all the inherent advantages and disadvantages that with it. I miss things about IG, but some of the things Meta has done pushed me over the line...
