I agree that if a conflict or disaster is a surprise, then governments should help their citizens get home.

But I’ve never really understood why people who knowingly travel to parts of the world where war is a predictable risk blame their home country for not helping to get them home.

I guess that’s it then. The coup in the USA is nearly complete. War has been declared using the full might of the US armed forces, without the approval of its Congress.
