A liberal can't win in AL 4th, but might in districts that are less R. Those won't be pure liberals.

#WritingCommunity please give me your recommendations for novels in the Tortured Love Story sub-genre, with unhappy endings (not Romance).

But, in some districts, only a certain flavor of Democrat has ANY chance of winning. Would you rather have a Republican in that seat, who will follow Trump 100% as they almost all do?

To clarify, I do not yet know if this will have a HEA or HFN ending, but I think that is unlikely. That ending would exclude "Romance" from this, and move it to "Love Story" or just "Contemporary," but I don't yet know.
