Especially the part where they introduced step-by-step reasoning swithout relying on massive supervised datasets.
Just pure reinforcement learning.
At a fraction of the cost.
Glad they open sourced the model.

I almost cannot believe Deepseek is causing a bloodbath in the US stock market.
I agree that the tech is impressive. But look at how biased the model is.
Both data and model are likely biased. Note: it’s not even hallucinating - it isn’t answering the question!
Imagine living in a state where this is the only information you could get about your history.
DeepSeek is clearly a remarkable bit of technology, but this exchange highlights how important censorship is in AI.
