Nobody at Turbo Button could figure out how to make an AI-generated greeting card. But we heard studios like us are expected to use AI for everything now, so we commissioned some of our favorite artists to hand draw what they think those cards might have looked like.
Here's what they came up with.

And finally, Philip Dickinson (dickensonart.com) surprised us with a bunch of options and we couldn't pick just one. So we settled on two: a cheerful portrait of noodly arms and fleshy puzzles, and the most horrifying treatment of a snowman anyone has seen since Floor Plan 1.

When @amegosh.bsky.social presented us with "a 1590s kitschy look with Santa growing out of letters that don't quite say Merry Christmas," we were sold not only because of beard letters, but also because it perfectly captured AI's unique quality of almost having something to say.

@coolbeens.bsky.social wrote her own prompt to work from: "Christmas Elf Bee Holding Flower Happy Jolly with Present Bow Background Happy Holidays Christmas Green Red Stripes and Sparkles." We don't know if the bee is wearing a hat or another bee, but we're sure that the world needs more scarf feet.

We have lots of hand types and presents in our game, so we loved @scribbleroot.bsky.social's take on wrong hands and wrong presents. The more you look at it, the more questions you have. Isn't that what great art is all about?
