Today feels like a tree day. And because we love trees at Umeshu Lovers, here are some trees we made, in all shapes, colors, sizes and even styles!
Since we've mostly been sharing 2D works these past few weeks, here are some 3D pieces. Characters, creatures, environments... we can do it all!

Today is a cold, wet, grey day, so we felt like sharing some of our old work, in order to bring a little bit of warmth and sunshines. Spring cannot be here soon enough!
It looks like you've quite enjoyed our work on Jungler's short animation film, so here are some more concept arts from that same project.

Today, we are sharing a first set of concept arts we created a few years ago, teaming up with Jungler as they were working on a short animation for Les Apprentis d'Auteuil. It was a really fun mission, because this is a very different art style than what we would usually do.
Another glimpse to that cancelled Rovio's project we worked on a few years ago. No Unity render today, because our team didn't have the time to create it. Which wasn't a big deal since we mostly did it to showcase how some of these concepts would translate into full 3D.
A second concept rendered in Unity, for that same cancelled Rovio project we worked on a few years ago. Here again, the idea was to demonstrate that not only we're able to create great 2D concepts, but also that these concepts were easily translatable into real-time 3D.

We're a bit late to the party (though in France we usually say that you can do it up until January 31), but as you know, art takes time. Anyway, the whole team at Umeshu Lovers wishes you all a healthy and prosperous new year ! 🎉
And as you can notice, "Nessie" and Loveland are actually part of the same big picture, so collectors can put the two cards side by side. That's pretty cool.
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure to share with you a first piece of our collaboration with MetaZoo Games. So, after Loveland Frogman, here's another piece of this same collaboration, this time with a bigger creature, the Loch Ness Monster itself!

As 2025 is drawing to a close, the whole Umeshu Lovers team wanted to take the time to wish you all a happy holiday season. Our studio will enter hibernation tomorrow, so we will see you all in 2026, January 5th.

In December 2024, we started a collaboration with MetaZoo Games, as they were looking for artists to give birth to some of their ideas. We recently got feedback from the MetaZoo community about our work on that project, so we felt like sharing some of what we did!
A Triceratops and its young walking by a pound, while three humans are looking at them. They are way too close here again but that's ok, Triceratops are like big cows.
We didn't work on this one but this felt like the right timing to share some of our previous work for another Excurio's exhibition, Mondes Disparus ("Gone Worlds").

Today, our good friends at Excurio are launching their new immersive journey through time, with Le Trésor des Bâtisseurs ("Builders' treasures"), available at Eclipso Paris. (1/2)
... but sadly the video was based on a true story in which RSPCA workers were able to rescue Loki, a poor dog who suffered human cruelty at its absolute worst.

Last year, we had the opportunity to team up with Blinkink and worked on a video for RSPCA's "Summer Cruelty Appeal" campaign. Our team produced these backgrounds. You can probably notice the inspiration from Disney's "Lady and the Tramp"... (1/2)
Today we are sharing with you this illustration that was used as a poster for an incredible exhibition at MOBE, the Muséum d'Orléans pour la Biodiversité et l'Environnement. This poster wasn't our only contribution, since we also created several pictures used in the exhibition.
It's always a very special moment when you see months of work come to life. We cannot wait to see more!

Today we would like to share a piece of concept we produced for Asmodee's Survive the Island. As you can notice, the final product is noticeably different, but this isn't unusual in the world of concept art.
And here are the final products!
These missions bring their own challenges and can actually be very technical, and that's why our team love them so much. Here's an exemple with Waterfall Park, from Repos Production. We delivered concepts for the box art, and for the board itself.
This week, let's do something a bit different. By now, you might be familiar with our work both for the video game and the animation industries. But another regular type of partners are tabletop and board games companies.
