Liondad and Luther reprise their roles as Santa and the Krampus, seated in an ornate sleigh with a massive bag of toys lashed to the back. Santa lion holds Junior on his lap, hefting the large lump of coal the boy's deposited. Meanwhile, Krampus Luther grips Tyke's tail and goes to town on his exposed backside with a bundle of switches. The pup kicks his sleighbell-chained legs, but the soggy diaper pulled down to around his knees keeps him from struggling too much. The furious blush off of Junior's cheeks and the red welts on Tyke's spanked rump cast a bright glow that guides the sleigh onward through the night.

Junior plays dress-up in Were-Dad's torn clothing, but the scariest part of his outfit remains the heavily sodden diaper drooping between his legs.

The lions stand outside a neighbor's Halloween-decorated house in broad daylight, Dad dressed in a flannel shirt and jeans, and Junior in a pumpkin bonnet and onesie. The friendly raccoon greeting them is wearing a witch costume. Junior mumbles "trick or treat," and the neighbor remarks on the early hour. Dad clarifies that he needs to get his boy home for a nap soon, or he'll be even more of a grump than he already is.

The witchy raccoon compliments the cub's costume, noting that "fussy baby" is an unusual choice for a boy his age, but the big lion explains that this isn't a costume, so much as just the first things he grabbed from Junior's dresser after changing him out of the costume that was ruined in a blowout incident three doors into their trick or treating expedition. Dad explains that the scariness of his own costume may have been to blame. The raccoon asks, "...pumpkin farmer?"

"WERE-DAD," the suddenly hulking and feral lion explains. His clothing splits into tatters at his transformation, and his audience seems rather startled.

Back to his usual calm demeanor, Junior's dad hoists the catatonic boy up and explains that he'll be taking the both of them back home for another change. The witchy neighbor confesses that they may need one as well...

Were-dad is real and I'm going to smooch him.

"How do I make Locktober feel special when I already spent September in lockdown" is a peak Gordo problem.

At this point it's not really a monthly challenge thing anymore. You're just a toddler, buddy 😌 If you're traveling this month, just remember to pack the cage and booties in your diaper bag!

Junior and his dad are joined by his auntie and uncle and two younger cousins at a park picnic table. The lion family's lunch of sandwiches (minus Junior's pureed carrots spooned from a baby food jar) is momentarily interrupted by a diaper change. Junior's aunt watches on with an inscrutable smile to rival Liondad's, but her husband seems much less entertained. His face is contorted into a grimace as he tries to enjoy his meal through the sight of his bro-law powdering his grown-ass nephew's rump before tugging a fresh diaper into place. Their son is desperately trying hide how intently he's staring (and how the display is affecting him), while his sister makes no attempt to disguise her interest. She asks her uncle if she can help tape Junior up, to which LD replies, "Of course" (over Junior's angry objection). For all his complaining, Junior is keeping still on his back, obediently holding onto his balled-up dirty diaper during the process.

Going back through the archives here, I've still got a soft spot for this one. The first appearance of Junior's cousins, who are both taking an acute interest in the little guy's diaper change, but for Very Different Reasons 😏
