“The bicycle doesn’t have brakes” is very English, as here in NL you often have bikes with only coaster brakes and no hand brakes, so not visible in any way.

Not enjoying this as much as I expected, but OMG the TT has serious safari potential.
The Dutch MoD announced it has selected the French F21 MK2 heavyweight torpedo for its future Orka-class submarines. The initial plan was to integrate the American MK48 which is currently used by the Royal Netherlands Navy aboard the in-service Walrus-class 🇫🇷🇳🇱

I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to

That’s ok Canada, it’s not like the whole world saw this game as an analogy for the global geopolitical situation and had pinned all their hopes on you. 😑
Could pretty easily follow until I hit 1100. Although Dutch helps fill in a few gaps in the oldest texts, not enough to fully make sense of it.
Unlikely to be much fun. Need to go up to a 7-seater to fit the 3 teens comfortably for road trips, so now considering the options.
Those tacos look glorious. One of the few food things I can’t easily get/recreate here. 9% beer a bit too easy thanks to our Belgian neighbors though. I was in Ghent last week and we were drinking 9-12% beers at a work dinner!
Might be for sale soon! You can just buy all my cars when they no longer suit my needs 😉
A nighttime photo of a red Lada Riva car parked on the street in Prague. There are other cars around it and a Balenciaga boutique in the background.
Forgot to post this mint Lada Riva seen a couple nights ago in Prague.
Nobody will remember the pedophilia or tariffs if you start a nuclear war
TFW your dictator has the worst design agency in the history of authoritarianism.
Mobile dumpsters as a public service?
A dark nighttime photo of a Cybertruck parked on a Czech street with streetlights highlighting the sad design characteristics and weak proportions.
I’m disappointed in you Prague.
Some interesting car spots in Prague today. The ID.Buzz looking delightfully pedestrian with its black bumpers and steelies!
It’s an amazing iron curtain hotel/television tower on top of a Czech mountain. We almost made it, but ultimately didn’t even see it because of the conditions up there.
I could feel my concentration fading in the last two. First ones were nearly perfect!
Not happy with this. Might need another go when I’m less tired. Fun challenge though.

Makes billionaires shit the bed.
Our goal, in case you’re not familiar with Ještěd.
The very moment we flew too close to the glorious communist architectural sun and had to descend.
Today I found the limits of my FWD Yeti with 3-peak tires at the top of a snowy mountain in Czechia. I’ll have to return to Ještěd Tower better prepared another time!
An entire car brand built on the idea “what if tribal tattoos were design strategy”
Clearly the staging area for Craig’s next attempt!
A photo of a black Opel Frontera with steel wheels and a roof box parked in a snowy location. Behind the car there is a building with a yellow sign in Polish over the door.
Found this Frontera suspiciously parked at the base of a mountain in Poland. 🤔@smithandsniff.bsky.social
Yup. 252k to be precise. In theory all should be public public, but we know that semi-public ones slip through. Our raw data shows a staggering 282k EVSE in NL, which also includes restricted and private connectors (and some other garbage data we have to sift out).
Over 250k according to our numbers (from today). Only 8500 DC chargers in that list.
